How to Spell Check Your Resume
One typo can cost you an interview. AceCV's spell checker scans your entire resume and suggests fixes for every error.
The spell checker analyzes all text across your resume — name, title, summary, experience bullets, skills, education, and custom sections. It catches common typos, misspellings, and grammar issues, with one-click fixes for each error.
Step-by-step guide
Open the spell check panel
Click the language icon in the builder sidebar. AceCV automatically scans your entire resume for spelling errors.
Review detected errors
Each error shows the misspelled word, suggested corrections, and the context where it appears. A red badge on the sidebar icon shows the total error count.
Apply fixes or ignore
Click a suggested fix to apply it across your entire resume. Click "Ignore" to skip false positives (like technical terms or proper nouns). You can also ignore all remaining errors at once.
