Step-by-step guide
Choose your input method
On the builder's first screen, choose how to start: upload a PDF/DOCX, paste raw text, import from LinkedIn via the Chrome extension, or start from scratch. AceCV's AI extraction parses your uploaded file and populates every section automatically.
Review and edit your content
The editor shows a live preview on the left and editable sections on the right. Click any section (summary, experience, skills, education) to edit it. The WYSIWYG editor supports rich text for bullet points.
Pick a template
Open the Templates panel in the sidebar to browse 10+ professional, ATS-tested templates. Click any template to apply it instantly — your content stays the same, only the layout changes.
Use AI to improve your content
Click the sparkles icon on any bullet point to get 3 AI-rewritten variants (Simplify, Elevate Impact, Highlight Results). Use the AI Summary Writer to generate a professional summary. Run the Resume Score to get a 0-100 quality assessment.
Download your resume
Open the Finish Up panel to check your resume is complete, then click Download to get a watermark-free PDF. Pro users can also download as TXT or Markdown.
